🦠 Update to COVID Vaccination Recall Searches

We are pleased to inform you that the COVID vaccination recall searches (“005 COVID Vaccination programme”) have been updated in SystmOne. This follows feedback received from both SystmOne and EMIS customers; changes to the EMIS searches will follow shortly.

The searches will now only exclude patients who have declined within the last 3 months prior to the search run date, rather than the last 6 months. This change means that patients who declined during the previous campaign date will now be eligible by the start date of the current campaign, allowing invitations to be sent to all eligible patients at the beginning of the campaign.

For more information on the tools we provide for COVID vaccination recall please view our support article here: PCIT SystmOne | 005 COVID Vaccination Programme Knowledge base

đź“„ New: Long Term Condition Care Plans

We’re rolling out patient-facing Care Plans for long term conditions, designed to give patients a clear summary of their diagnosis, latest results, personal targets, and practical next steps — helping support shared decision-making at review.

Care Plans are accessed directly from the associated long term condition template — simply open the relevant template, and the linked Care Plan will be available from there.

Currently available: Hypertension, Diabetes, CKD
Coming soon: Further condition-specific Care Plans, released over the coming weeks.

đź’‰ Requires RSV vaccination code

The new RSV cohort became eligible from 1st September 2026 however the CQRS business rules have not yet been updated to include this cohort for payment. This means that the PCIT searches in 001O will not include these patients in RSV003. We recommend using the Missed Activity reports to identify these patients as you will likely need to request a payment adjustment for this activity.
