🔍 016 Seasonal Influenza Searches
To prepare for the call/recall programme, the RECALL folder provides lists to invite priority groups.
Once the vaccination programme is running, the ACTIVITY and UPTAKE reporting folders help to monitor vaccination numbers. Meanwhile, the RECALL folder will update as vaccinations are given and declines collected so additional invitations can be issued.
“Eligible for flu vaccination“ can be added to team member’s own F12 pick lists which will help to confirm eligibility if a patient contacts the surgery to arrange a flu vaccination.
Primary Care IT will also be updating templates for flu prior to the official start of the vaccination campaign in September.
📚 For further details, please see our support guide below.
Primary Care IT will update protocols and templates for administering flu vaccinations prior to the official start of the campaign in September.
🧪 005 Covid Vaccination Programme
The eligibility criteria remain the same as those used in the Spring 2025 booster campaign, meaning a smaller cohort of immunosuppressed patients and those over the age of 75. Use the Recall reports to identify and invite eligible patients, and issue follow up invitations when necessary.
New reports have been created to help Practices target patients who were vaccinated elsewhere in the previous campaign, which will help to generate additional activity for general practice led vaccination centres.
The red box alert HP211 has been updated to highlight eligible patients during the campaign who can be reminded about getting a vaccination.

📝 NHS Health Check Eligibility Checker
🔵 The patient is aged between 40–74
🔵 The patient has a pre-existing cardiovascular condition
🔵 The patient has a recent issue of a lipid-lowering drug
🔵 The patient has had a previous NHS Health Check within the last five years.
You can find these protocols in the OneTemplate Admin under the Eligibility section. It can be launched manually by simply clicking on it when in a patient’s record.
Why this matters: It ensures the NHS Health Check is offered only to those who meet the eligibility criteria, making the process efficient and clinically appropriate.
💉 Vaccinations Eligibility Checker Protocol
The protocol will alert you if there is a recorded contraindication, a decline, or evidence that the patient has already received the vaccine. If none of these apply, the patient will be marked as eligible and you will be guided through the next steps, which may include booking an appointment.
Why this matters: It saves time, reduces missed opportunities, and ensures eligible patients receive the right protection at the right time.
✈️ OneTravel Template
This has pre-formatted text to be able to quickly record standard advice for travel. This template has been completely reviewed and updated following COVID.
We will be adding this to your OneLaunchers: both Prescriber and Non-Prescriber.

🖥️ OneCoding Template
This template contains everything that a clinical coding team would need to be effective in their work. It aids teams to record information in a structured and consistent way. Where new diagnoses have required contractual actions, these are highlighted. Where common procedures have been performed in secondary care or where follow up in primary care is needed, users can record this in a standardised way using the template.

Queries about CQC Navigator?
CQC inspection teams use a set of searches which have been designed to help them to understand how a Practice manages their patient population, and to identify clinical situations which should not be happening. To support with this, Primary Care IT has adapted these searches to help practices understand what might need to be addressed before a CQC inspector finds it.
