Primary Care IT is releasing v3.4 of the IIF 2022/23 searches, which have been updated with a number of fixes and enhancements.

Enhancements:

  • New searches to support ACC-08 (booking appointments in less than 2 weeks)
  • New work to do searches for CVD-01, highlighting incomplete follow up
  • New work to do search for CVD-03 to identify previously excepted patients to target for removal from denominator
  • New work to do search for SMR-03 removing the need to run searches with a relative date
  • Improved sub searches and descriptions used to speed up complex searches

Headline Fixes:

  • Fixed an error in [IIF-CVD01] which included some existing hypertensives
  • Fixed an error in two CVD01 sub searches where the incorrect diastolic value was selected
  • Fixed an error in IIF-SMR02B relating to the date of the SMR

For areas where we have access to an enterprise search and report unit, these searches have been added to the Primary Care IT folder, ready to be copied across. Alternatively, the searches can be downloaded from our website in the Subscriber Hub.

  • EMIS Web crashing?

We are sure you’ve seen the email from EMIS about issues with their system. Some of our users have already been reporting issues with EMIS crashing when trying to launch templates. As you can see this is a known issue with EMIS which has been acknowledged and is being actioned. Primary Care IT are doing everything we can to look for workarounds or alternative ways of using the system to try to mitigate the impact. We have started the rollout of 2021/22 OneResults and OneMonitoring which will give practices access to everything QOF related. In the meantime, we suggest that every time an issue is encountered you report this to EMIS so that they understand the impact this is having. You can do this through EMIS Now: https://www.emisnow.com/csm

  • Good News!

We’re really pleased that the recent EMIS update seems to have fixed the issues that some users were experiencing with launching templates including our OneTemplate. This should mean that all users can now load this without any issues. We’ve been busy in the background creating a very much slimmed down version of the template, so if anyone is still having issues then please drop us a support ticket https://support.primarycareit.co.uk/portal/en-gb/newticket and we can install this for you.
