Resource Releases & Updates

Our SystmOne QOF Templates & Searches are now live!

All QOF-related areas within our templates have been reviewed and updated to align with the latest QOF 2026/27 indicator changes. The release includes updated template content for asthma, COPD, NDH/GDM, cardiovascular disease, CHD, stroke/TIA, obesity, hypertension, diabetes, and heart failure.

This includes support for updated or new indicators including: AST014, AST015, COPD010, NDH003, CD001, CD002, OB004, OB005, HYP010, HYP011, DM037 and HF009.

Key improvements include refreshed asthma age eligibility, updated COPD register logic, gestational diabetes pathways with NDH, revised blood pressure guidance including frailty handling, new obesity indicator support, DM037 8 Key Care Processes support, and HF009 four pillar therapy review for patients with HFrEF.

We have released handy protocols to support QOF optimisation and coding accuracy during routine clinical workflows.

1️⃣ Frailty Code Checker

This new protocol is designed to keep checking frailty coding when a patient record is saved. It is designed to help staff to ensure that QOF frailty coding is keeping consistent with the Rockwood frailty code or value recorded during the consultation.

📚 For more information, please see our support guide here.

2️⃣ Obesity Management Checker

This protocol checks whether a patient meets the BMI threshold for obesity management activity when a BMI is entered. It supports QOF 2026/27 obesity indicators OB004 and OB005 by alerting users when action may be required and prompting them to record the appropriate referral, treatment activity, or reason why this cannot be completed.

📚 For more information, please see our support guide here.

3️⃣ Asthma Review Not Fully Complete Checker

This protocol checks whether any elements of an asthma review have been completed when a patient record is saved. It helps ensure that all required components of the asthma review have been recorded. If any required elements are missing, the user is notified and given the opportunity to complete the outstanding information before saving the record.

📚 For more information, please see our support guide here.

4️⃣ COPD Review Not Fully Completed Checker

This protocol checks whether any elements of a COPD review have been completed when a patient record is saved. It helps ensure that all required components of the COPD review have been recorded. If any required elements are missing, the user is notified and given the opportunity to complete the outstanding information before saving the record.
