Codes for QOF 2023/24

In light of the changes to QOF in recent months we have also updated our quick reference guide for users to find which codes count to achieve or remove a patient from a QOF indicator. PCIT subscribers are already able to use the QOF Outstanding page in the OneTemplate to ensure the correct coding is used. A PDF for distribution or printing can be downloaded here.

Minor surgery codes

Eagle eyed users will have noticed that most of the “Minor surgery done” codes such as excision /  incision / aspiration / injection are no longer selectable. We know that Enhanced Services in some areas specify the use of these codes to claim for procedures done. The codes are only selectable if they already existed in a template. Fortunately the codes can be found in the OneProcedure template.

Where these codes are being used for Enhanced Services claims we recommend Practices make their ICB aware so changes can be made to the next contract year’s specification.
