Seasonal Influenza searches 2024-25
We’re pleased to announce that next week we’ll be releasing our updated Seasonal Influenza searches for 2024-25!
This collection of searches has been designed to support Practices running a call/recall programme for their seasonal influenza campaign. Built in line with the Enhanced Service criteria, searches are grouped by eligibility cohorts to assist in prioritising groups of patients to invite, and then to monitor uptake across each of the cohorts. A data quality folder offers searches to highlight missed or incorrect coding to ensure that all activity will be funded following the monthly CQRS extracts.
For customers, these will automatically be added to your system. Once updated you’ll be able to find them in folder ‘016 Seasonal Influenza (2024-25) (v5.0)’. We’ll be communicating to practices once live for everyone.
For non-customers, you’ll be able to download these from our website once released here.
BMA guidance regarding rejected referrals
The BMA has recently released some important guidance regarding disputing rejected referrals. If you haven’t read this guidance already we have attached a download link below so you can review what has been published.
Following the BMA released guidance, for customers, we have added the documentation to the Referral Tree regarding rejected referrals. The full guidance document can be found under either ‘Additional Options & Resources’ or under ‘Rejection Letters’ if your Referral Tree is configured to store these.
After reviewing the guidance you will also be able to use the pre-populated patient referral rejection letter should you encounter a rejected referral.
