QFIT code first, fast track referral second!

Practices are encouraged to ensure they are coding their QFIT tests to fulfil CAN02 criteria. To fulfil CAN02, make sure you are adding the referral code within 21 days of a QFIT code. If the patient had to be provided with a new QFIT e.g. for a sample error, we suggest adding another QFIT code on the day the patient was given the new one – this will mean you aren’t penalised for the delay on the part of the lab or the patient.

Remember:
QFIT code first, fast track referral second.

Transitioning to EMIS-X Instant Messaging

Over the coming months, EMIS plans to start removing the current Screen Messaging functionality within EMIS Web. Going forward they will be encouraging all users to transition to their new Instant Messaging solution through EMIS-X.

If you haven’t already started using EMIS-X’s instant messaging, you can view EMIS’s guide on set up and accessing EMIS-X. There’s also a specific guide on use of the Instant Messaging feature.

EMIS has confirmed they will provide official notice when Screen Messaging is scheduled to removed from individual practices.
