If your PCN is not hitting this target yet, there are some quick wins to ensure your PCN gets maximal funding. You can easily achieve 100% with these areas. You simply need to add an invitation code and then wait 7 days and add another invitation code (from the same list – can even be the same code) and this will remove all patients from the eligibility. If you then give them the vaccine at a later stage they will be included again. The codes you can use are:

We’ve noticed that a lot of surgeries have been bulk declining patients for VI02-03. This process works well if you are sure the patients have declined or are non-responders, but when assisting some of our customers we have seen that they have declined patients who simply had an incorrect flu vaccination code, that could have been fixed.
PCIT want to raise awareness of this issue, as practices could pick up some potentially missed income here. PCIT subscribers can use our Data Quality reports for VI02-03 to highlight potentially incorrect coding, and easily address this issue. SystmOne Tip – SNOMED codes
You can now add a SNOMED code to patients record automatically when a Communication Annexe message is sent to a patient. The code can be added on a per patient basis or if using the Communication Annex list action. You can also configure message presets to include the SNOMED code to add when using the preset.
